Baillie Gifford Managed Fund: Is 60/40 really dead?

Thursday 1 October
2-2.45pm BST

The traditional 60/40 portfolio has been declared dead more than once. But is the problem the allocation itself - or what sits underneath it?

Join Sally Greig, head of Global Bonds and member of the Baillie Gifford Managed Fund team, as she explores:

  • Why mixing equities and bonds does not always deliver genuine diversification
  • How concentration and currency exposure can shape portfolio risk
  • Why different sources of return may matter more than the headline asset allocation

Whether the right balance is 50/50, 60/40 or 75/25, the key question remains: what are your 60 and your 40 actually made of?

Please note, as with any investment capital is at risk.
